SCG has created an efficient, cost effective, and straight forward process unique to the formation of Special Districts that will ultimately provide maintenance, public services, and/or infrastructure for the benefit of the constituents of a municipality. We provide unique solutions for the local agencies we work with and work diligently – even after establishing a Special District – to ensure that Special Districts are successful through their implementation. An integral part of the formation process as Special Tax Consultants includes analyzing proper taxes for special districts, and creating the best structure to implement to help local agencies build sustainable communities.
SCG participates in the issuance of new money bonds for bonded Special Districts and coordinates with Fiscal Agents/Trustees to perform bond calls. SCG carefully coordinates with City Staff, City Council Members, and Board Members, and we serve as an extension of local agencies to avoid contributing to their current workload. SCG orchestrates the completion of enrollment forms and data, Staff Reports, Resolutions, Map Exhibits, and other agenda materials for City Council/Board Meetings related to the formation, or annexation of Special Districts.
